DrainCom exceeded my expectations. Excellent customer service, fast response, and very professional work. Maria was incredibly helpful with communication and rebate guidance, and Serge did a great job with the sump pump replacement and battery backup installation. Everything was explained clearly and completed efficiently. I would definitely recommend DrainCom.
I have recently got my basement waterproofed by Draincom. I am very happy with the whole process from start to finish. Talin the office manager was quick and professional. Serge was very knowledgeable and always find the best way to help you & your issues to Petro and the crew went out of their way to get the best job done possible. Their price is reasonable. I am one happy customer.
I am delighted with this company! DrainCom solved my problem with the wetness in the basement fast, efficient and for very reasonable price! The technician Alex was able to diagnose the problem immediately and the repair team was of the highest quality. My basement is completely dry now! What a relief! The tech support has been the best! Thank you, Draincom!
Serge and his team did a very thorough job. They stand behind their work and provide a 25 year guarantee, which is way more than some others that I got quotes from. They were very courteous and after the work was done, they cleaned up thoroughly and left the work site in pristine condition. I'd use them again with no hesitation (although I hope i don't need to!).
I had a sump pump job done by DrainCom. I am extremely happy with both the customer service I received from Serge and Talin, as well as the professional job that was done by Serge. He was kind enough to even inspect the discharge line with a camera after the job was completed and added an extension for the line to protect it from freezing. He took the time to explain everything to me. I am very grateful for having come across this company. Quality work, expertise, and great customer service, all in one package, and very pleasant to deal with. I could not be happier. I highly recommend their services and will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you.

When the snow melts, groundwater on the moraine rises fast. If your basement takes on water every March or April, the water table is reaching your floor. We install perimeter drainage and a sump pump sized for the spring rush.
The storm that fills your sump pit is often the same one that knocks out the power. Rural roads can stay dark for hours. We add battery backup and a high-water alarm, and can set up a generator connection so the pump keeps running.
On a rural lot, sump water must stay clear of your wellhead and septic bed. A short discharge line that dumps by the house just recycles the water. We run the line downhill and well away from both.
The village core and older farmhouses often sit on stone or block. We repoint, parge and add interior drainage that keeps the floor dry without stressing the old wall.
For homes on municipal sewer, we camera the lateral, clear it with hydro jetting, and install a backwater valve with a permit.
We rebuild window wells with drains to the footing, regrade soil so it slopes away from the house, and install French drains where water pools in the yard.
As a waterproofing company serving Uxbridge, we handle interior basement waterproofing, exterior basement waterproofing, sump pumps with backup and rural drainage. Searching for basement waterproofing near me in Uxbridge or Goodwood? We come to you.
Both methods work. The best one for your home depends on the leak, the foundation and the lot.
Interior waterproofing, sometimes called internal basement waterproofing, works from inside. We break out a strip of floor along the walls, install perforated weeping tile, cover the walls with a dimpled DELTA-MS membrane and pipe the water to a sump pump. It’s the safe option for stone foundations and basements that flood with spring melt. Interior work runs $100 to $240 per linear foot.
Exterior waterproofing treats the outside of the foundation. We dig down to the footing, seal cracks, apply a membrane, replace the weeping tile and backfill with clean stone. On rural lots with room to dig, we pair it with drainage that carries water well away from your well and septic bed. Typical cost: $150 to $400 per linear foot.
From your first call to the warranty in your hand. Clear steps, a written price and no surprises along the way.
We check the leak, grading and sump, and locate your well and septic bed if you have them.
One clear number.
Township permit when needed and Ontario One Call before any dig.
Most jobs take 1 to 3 days. We keep machines clear of septic beds.
Water test on every repair.
Site restored, warranty in hand.

Durham Region has offered an interest-free Basement Flooding Loan of up to $3,000 for a backwater valve and sump pump after a sanitary sewer backup. It only applies to homes on the municipal sewer, so rural homes on septic aren’t eligible. Check current terms with Durham Region before applying.

Uxbridge sits on the moraine, where groundwater runs high and rises sharply with spring melt.
Uxbridge Brook and other local creeks drain the township. The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority regulates many of its watercourses.
About 11,800 of the township’s 21,556 people live in the urban area, served by Durham’s municipal wells and sewers. The rest live on private wells and septic, with different drainage needs.
The village core and many farmhouses predate modern waterproofing.
What every job includes:
Over 20 years we’ve waterproofed more than 300,000 linear feet of foundation walls and installed about 700,000 feet of membrane and weeping tile. Our office is at 1307 Kamato Rd., Mississauga, ON L4W 2M2. Hours: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with emergency response by phone for active flooding.
Downhill and well away from both your wellhead and septic bed. We plan the discharge route during the inspection.
No. A backwater valve stops municipal sewer backups. If you’re on septic, focus on your sump pump, drainage and grading instead.
A battery backup pump with an alarm is the usual choice. For long outages, a generator connection adds another layer.
Snowmelt raises the water table on the moraine. Groundwater reaches the floor and walls until it finds a way in. Perimeter drainage and a sump pump stop it.
Yes. We repoint, parge and use interior drainage so the wall isn’t disturbed.
Yes. We book visits across the township, and active leaks get priority.
Not that we’ve found. Durham’s flood loan applies only to homes on the municipal sewer.
Interior waterproofing runs $100 to $240 per linear foot and exterior $150 to $400. A sump pump and pit runs $2,200 to $3,500.
